Pole repair strap is used to support damaged wooden telegraph poles. Often referenced as a transmission pole, telephone pole, telecommunication pole, power pole, hydro pole, telegraph pole, or telegraph post.
The strap is fitted by the maintenance engineer where a replacement pole is not required, it acts as a splint around the damaged area of the pole, to ensure that it remains secure.
Pole repair strip is manufactured in galvanised steel, to ensure that corrosive substances are unable to reach the underlying steel. This ensures that the strap keeps its structural integrity when fitted for repair.
